Interview with Marie-Julie

Hi Marie-Julie, how would you describe yourself in a few words?
"I often say that I am passionate and fascinating 🙂
I am driven by dopamine and constantly seek it out in my tons of projects."

How long have you been part of Torréfactorie? How did you end up here?
"Since February 2025. I have been a customer at TF for over 4 years and I found my job here simply by coming to pick up my coffee."

What field do you specialize in and why this choice?
"I have a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in psychoeducation. In addition to coffee, I also have a great passion for people and psychology."

Where does your passion for coffee come from?
"I have been drinking a lot of coffee since I was a teenager. I have always loved its unique aromas. My passion for coffee was born after visiting a coffee farm in Costa Rica during a student trip in 2014. Since 2021, this passion has been fueled daily by Torréfactorie."

If you had to choose just one coffee for the rest of your life, which one would it be? And why?
"As long as it comes from Torréfactorie, I’ll be satisfied 😜
My current favorite ❤️ is the Sucré Salé (Sweet and Salty). I have never seen a coffee live up to its name so well. A beautiful combination between the Nicaragua with its floral and sweet aromas and the Malabar Monsooned with its saline finish."

And your biggest dream, the one you hold closest to your heart?
"It’s hard to choose, I have so many. Having my family and traveling, discovering the world, are among the most important things to me."

Finally, if you could share a message with our customers, what would it be?
"Thank you for keeping our business alive. For me, Torréfactorie is a place of comfort where you have a unique experience with every cup. You are part of our family and our coffee experience. It’s magical to be able to gather here to share our passion ❤️"
