Interview with Caroline

Hi Caroline, how would you describe yourself in a few words?
I would describe myself primarily as a dynamic, driven, and outgoing person. I am also deeply sensitive and have a great capacity for listening.

How long have you been with Torréfactorie? How did you end up here?
I have been part of the Torréfactorie family for almost 4 years now. I always wanted to be part of a family business with great values, where it’s easy to have fun while working. Plus, obviously, I love coffee! That’s a great bonus at Torréfactorie!

What is your area of specialization, and why did you choose it?
Since my college years, I haven't been able to go without my cup of coffee every morning. But it was really since I arrived at Torréfactorie that I immediately developed a real passion for everything surrounding the world of coffee.

If you had to choose just one coffee for the rest of your life, which one would it be? And why?
My coffee of choice is the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. I appreciate all coffees from Ethiopia, but the Yirgacheffe in particular has a certain "je ne sais quoi" that I love, both as an espresso and as a V60.

And your biggest dream, the one you hold closest to your heart?
My biggest dream is to have the chance to travel and learn more about different cultures around the world.

Finally, if you could share a message with our customers, what would it be?
I am extremely grateful for all the support from our Torréfactorie community. It is your passion for coffee and your loyalty that allow us to exist and to keep learning about every aspect of coffee. I look forward to continuing to chat with you and share ideas over a good cup of coffee!
