Ratio Six Coffee Maker Series 2

The Ratio Six coffee maker is made of thick, precision-stamped stainless steel and is available in a stainless steel or matte black finish.

It features hand-blown, lab-quality borosilicate glass with water level markings. The BPA-free copolymer water tank has markings from 2 to 8 cups, with one-ounce precision. It has a maximum capacity of 44 ounces (1.3 liters), with approximately 10% of the volume absorbed by the coffee grounds. Thus, 44 ounces of water poured into the tank will produce about 40 ounces of brewed coffee.

The heat shield completely surrounds the brew head during brewing, which improves the extraction of your coffee and produces a very hot cup, while meeting industry standards for coffee brewing. At the end of the brewing cycle, the coffee is typically just under 200 degrees Fahrenheit. For those who prefer their coffee very hot or who add a lot of milk or cream, the heat shield is an excellent accessory.

The carafe is compatible with flat-bottom paper filters, such as Melitta.

It can brew up to 1200 ml (40 ounces or eight 5-ounce cups).
