Interview with Shawn

Hi Shawn, how would you describe yourself in a few words?
"Always curious, creative, and driven by a passion for people, I love embarking on new projects. I firmly believe that you never stop learning, regardless of age or experience, and I try to live by this principle every day."

How long have you been with Torréfactorie? How did you end up here?
"I have been part of the Torréfactorie team since April 2025. I was lucky enough to land here through a marketing internship as part of my college program."

What field do you specialize in, and why that choice?
"I completed a DEC in Business Management and specialized in marketing over time. I made this choice given the importance of learning management and the benefits it can bring!"

Where does your passion for coffee come from?
"I've always loved coffee. I've been drinking it since I was a teenager, and it’s partly thanks to my father, who used to let me taste his coffee from a very young age—it started early!☕"

If you had to choose just one coffee for the rest of your life, which would it be? And why?
"In the morning, I have, every time without exception, either a cappuccino or a double espresso; nothing too complicated, I like what is simple and effective! As for my favorite bean, I would choose the Kalossi, a bean that has chocolatey aromas—I love it."

And your biggest dream, the one you hold closest to your heart?
"To create a human-centered and innovative company that reflects who I am, where I can combine technology, creativity, and positive impact."

Finally, if you could share a message with our customers, what would it be?
"Support local and take the time to savor. A good coffee is much more than just a drink; it’s a crucial moment in your day 🙂"
